Everyone looked a little blank (okay - a lot blank in some cases) when I talked about reflective journals so I thought I'd pull together a few resources which might help. The following links go to wrtings about using reflective journals. It's a mixed bag with trainee teachers well represented and also a piece regarding reflective practice as part of a Dip HE course in nursing. You might want to reflect on these pieces on your blog. If you find any other useful resources please add them.
http://asp2.wlv.ac.uk/webteam/school_uploads/soh/soh_journal.pdf - a PDF from the School of Health at the University of Wolverhampton
http://www.teachingexpertise.com/articles/writing-reflective-learning-journal-642 From "Teaching Expertise". This is written in a chatty style.
http://www.clt.uts.edu.au/Scholarship/Reflective.journal.htm - My favourite because I think it sets the context well. It's from the Australian "Scholarship in Teaching" project
http://www.philseflsupport.com/reflective_journals.htm - I like this one too. It's maintained by a PHd student at Aston and is aimed at EFL teachers taking PG Diplomas or Masters
